Piedra del Molino - The Colorados
Touring cuesta del obispo, piedra del molino, recta de tin tin, los colorados.
Departing from your hotel at 8am, we will head for the National Road 68 taking us through huge tobacco farms, one of Salta’s most important crops, until we reach Route 33. From there we will head to Piedra del Molino and the Escoipe Ravine, a route of colourful mountains, small towns, and spectacular views. On arrival at the Piedra del Molino, the entrance to the Los Cardones National Park, we will prepare our bikes and start living the real biking adventure through Cachi Pampa and the Tin-Tin trail which used to be part of the Incan’s trail many years ago. Here we will also have the opportunity to site groups of guanacos (llama species), and condors soaring through the sky. We will continue the tour via a route known as ‘Los Colorados’ where for about 15kms we will cycle through unimaginably beautiful views. Finally, we will finish with a taste of local flavours in a delicious picnic lunch, a perfect moment to reflect on the journey and recharge our batteries before driving back to Salta City. Arrival time to Salta: 6pm
