Trekking La Yesera

Leaving the city of Salta and taking the National Road no. 68, we will drive through beautiful colonial towns and huge farms of one of Salta’s main exports, tobacco. We will drive 100km to the Quebrada las Conchas. This extraordinary site, also declared a natural monument, displays unusual rock formations and colourful mountains caused by the oxidation process of the minerals. In the middle of this paradise, in a place called ‘el paso’ located 1470m (m.a.s.l.), we will begin our trek accompanied by our guide who will take us along the 8km stretch of the canyon. Here we will discover geological formations of more than 70 million years painted in an enormous variety of colours. We will end our trek in a place called La Yeera, the perfect place to enjoy a delicious picnic! Finally we will return to Salta with our hearts and minds full of magical and unforgettable experiences. Then, we will return to the city with our hearts and souls full of magical experiences.
